Every new patient begins with an assessment and treatment in the same appointment.

Chiropodist reviewing a new patient foot assessment
Initial foot care assessment & treatment
Think Feet is always welcoming new patients. A first appointment includes both an initial assessment and treatment with a chiropodist, including review of your foot concerns, examination, and an individualised treatment plan.
Sterilised chiropody instruments on a treatment tray
Chiropody & foot care
Ongoing basic and advanced foot care: nail and callus care, skin lesions, pain assessment, and education on maintaining your foot health between visits.
Custom orthotic insoles beside a plaster foot cast
Biomechanical assessment & custom orthotics
A biomechanical assessment determines the best device for you, considering weight, foot position and lesions. Custom orthotics are cast with Plaster of Paris and foam boxes and manufactured to prescription — soft, semi-rigid or rigid.

Medical & high-risk foot care

Care coordinated with your wider health care team.

Diabetic foot screening with a monofilament test
Diabetic foot care & screening
Diabetes affects the whole body, and the feet carry the greatest risk. We screen, monitor and treat diabetic foot changes to protect sensation, circulation and skin integrity.
Circulation assessment at the ankle with a doppler probe
Peripheral vascular disease foot care
PVD affects the blood vessels supplying the extremities. As the feet are furthest from the heart they are affected first — we assess, treat and monitor to reduce risk.
Supportive footwear and cushioning for arthritic feet
Rheumatoid arthritis foot care
Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory disease that can change bone shape and toe positioning. We manage pressure areas, footwear and pain related to those changes.
Sterile wound dressing supplies for foot ulcer care
Foot ulcer care & wound management
Foot ulcers are open wounds or cuts that are not healing. We debride, dress, offload and monitor wounds, and work with your care team where needed.

Pain, structure & deformity

Keeping you mobile, comfortable and active.

Anatomical model of the bones of the foot
Foot deformity care
There are many causes for changes in the shape of a person's foot, including arthritis, footwear and structural change. We assess and manage the deformity and the pressure it creates.
Gait analysis mat and walking shoes in the clinic
Foot strain care
Foot strain describes pain felt when standing and/or walking. We identify the cause, treat the tissue involved and address footwear or mechanics behind it.
Silicone toe separators and protective toe cushions
Clawed toe & hammer toe care
Toe deformities change how pressure travels through the forefoot. Treatment focuses on relieving lesions, protecting the toes and improving footwear fit.

Skin & nail treatments

The everyday problems that stop people walking comfortably.

Nail care instruments and a ONYFIX-style nail brace
Toe nail treatments & ONYFIX
Nail care, ingrown nail treatment and partial nail avulsion surgery. ONYFIX is a non-invasive, non-surgical nail correction system we now offer, and it can also be combined with surgery to improve nail shape as it grows out.
Callus rasp, pumice stone and foot cream
Corn & callus treatment
Corns and calluses form where pressure concentrates. We remove them comfortably and address the cause so they return more slowly.
Topical treatment supplies for plantar warts
Plantar wart treatment
Plantar warts are raised areas combined with callus, often circular, and can be painful under pressure. Several treatment options are available.
Fresh cotton socks, spray and breathable sandals
Athlete's foot & fungal treatment
Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) is a fungal infection that can present as a rash or blisters. We diagnose, treat and advise on preventing recurrence.
Blister dressings and padding beside walking boots
Blister foot care
Blisters occur when fluid collects under the top layer of skin, usually from friction or pressure. We treat the blister and the cause behind it.

Think Feet is a private clinic and is not covered by OHIP. Most insurance companies cover chiropody treatments; payment is due following your appointment and we provide the invoice information you need for your claim.
